The smooth surface of the PDO monofilament ensures its easy passage through the tissue without trauma.

It is used for suturing all types of soft tissues, can be used in pediatric cardiovascular surgery, microsurgery and ophthalmology. It is especially effective in situations where it is necessary to use absorbable suture material and require longer (up to six weeks) support of the edges of the wound.
