  • Product Code: POLYPROPYLENE
  • Availability: In Stock

POLYPROPYLENE Golnit® (Ukraine)

Analogous to: Prolena, Sergi-pro, Premilena, Mopilena

(synthetic * monofilament * surgical suture material, does not absorb over time)

Sizes: USP 10 / 0- USP 2

Expiration date: 5 years

Color: blue

Composition: Polypropylene

It does not absorb. Almost all tensile strength is retained.

Tissue response: minimal

It has very high tensile strength and flexibility. It causes only minimal reactivity of takany. Plasticity and smoothness allow less damage to the fabric.

Suitable for use in cardiac and vascular surgery due to its antithrombogenic properties. It is widely used for stitching and dressing of soft tissues, including during neurosurgical, ophthalmological and cardiovascular interventions. In addition, Polypropylene is used as a skin thread, especially in plastic surgery.

Raw materials from - USA, Europe, Japan.

Suture material Polypropylene complies with ISO standards.

It is an analogue of Prolen Prospect Etikona.

Characteristics - Polypropylene is a non-absorbable sterile material for suturing. Polypropylene is monofilament, does not absorb over time and is distinguished by high tensile strength and flexibility. Practically does not cause tissue reactivity, non-allergenic. The thread is smooth and ductile, this minimizes injury to surrounding tissues, both during suturing and after surgery.

Equipment:

Sterilized threads of different lengths. Also, needles (atraumatic) with various characteristics (cutting, stitching, combined, straight (length 4mm - 75mm.); Spatula needles (3/8), (1/2), (1/4) and ( 5/8) circles) and so on.
