- Brand: Голнит®
- Product Code: POLIVINILIDENFTORID (PVDF)
- Availability: In Stock
PVDF (POLYVINYLIDENFLUORIDE) Hololit® (Ukraine)
Analogous to: RESOPREN® (Resoprene)
(synthetic sterile material for surgical suturing, monofilament, does not absorb over time)
Sizes: USP 10 / 0- USP 2
Shelf life: 5 years.
Color: black, blue.
Composition: polyvinylidene fluoride
It does not absorb. Almost all tensile strength is retained.
Tissue reaction: minimal.
It does not absorb and is chemically inert. Therefore, its use is especially indicated in those cases in which the most limited tissue reaction is desired. This monofilament thread has water-repellent properties and therefore can be used in the field of inflamed or infected wounds. Thus, the risk of rejection of sutures and the formation of wound cavities is minimized.
Suitable for use in cardiac and vascular surgery due to its antithrombogenic properties. It is widely used for stitching and dressing of soft tissues, including during neurosurgical, ophthalmologic and cardiovascular interventions. In addition, polyvinylidene fluoride is used as a skin thread, especially in plastic surgery. Polyvinylidene fluoride is suitable for suturing, which must be removed later, since it does not stick together with fabrics and does not swell.
Polyvinylidene fluoride - made in Ukraine.
Materials are sourced from - USA, Korea, Europe, Japan.
Suture material Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) - full compliance with ISO requirements
Manufacturer - Ukrainian company Golnit®.
Product specifications - Polyvinylidene fluoride - a synthetic sterile suture material. PVDF does not lose its properties over time, does not resolve, and belongs to the category of monofilament suture materials. The polyvinylidene fluoride filament is chemically inert, so it is usually used when closing wounds in places where a minimal reaction of surrounding tissues is required. It also has a high level of water repulsion and is perfect for use as a suture material for closing non-clean wounds (infected or inflamed) - the risks of suture inflammation and the appearance of cavities in the wound are minimized.
Polyvinylidene fluoride is excellent for suturing, which must be removed in the future, the thread does not lose its original properties and is easily removed when the suture is removed.
It is an analogue of Resoprene from Resorb.
Options - sterilized threads of different lengths. Also, needles (atraumatic) with various characteristics (cutting, stitching, combined, straight (length 4mm - 75mm.); Spatula needles (3/8), (1/2), (1/4) and ( 5/8) circles) and so on.
